"Shloka!" Darshika exclaimed, her eyes widening with a mixture of surprise and playful challenge, her voice breathless.  "What's gotten into you?"

I grinned, already unbuttoning my shirt. My fingers fumbled with the buttons in my haste. "What! Don't blame me, love. It's been a bloody week since I was away from you – the first time in our marriage !"

I tossed the shirt aside and hovered over her, my gaze intense. "And I'm not in the mood to waste another second."
